2019 to 2026, one long build log.
Each year added a layer: fundamentals first, then products, then systems, then people. This is how it went.
2019
Trainee to engineer

Six months as a trainee at Insight Workshop. Git discipline, PEP8, PostgreSQL schema design, and a capstone CMS built in Django REST Framework and AngularJS. My first taste of code that other people depend on.
2020
Shipping through a remote year

The world went remote and so did delivery. I built and integrated APIs across distributed teams, learned to write specs people could act on asynchronously, and got comfortable owning a feature end to end.
2021
Mobility and real-world products

Worked on mobility and CMS platforms — maps, routing, bookings — where correctness has physical consequences. Also ran proofs-of-concept for video editing and chat, plus feasibility testing for stakeholder demos.
2022
Stepping into senior

Joined Innovate Tech and took the lead on admin features, a chat system, and academic delivery apps — along with the unglamorous work of versioning, caching, and monitoring that keeps them standing.
2023
Scaling ed-tech

Ed-tech platforms serving thousands of students daily. Performance budgets, query tuning, and observability became part of every ticket instead of an afterthought once something broke.
2024
Reviews that teach

Mentoring juniors and interns, and turning code review into a teaching surface rather than a gate. Wrote impact docs that let non-engineering decision-makers weigh trade-offs honestly.
2025
AI in the workflow

Folded AI-assisted tooling into day-to-day engineering — scaffolding, test generation, review assistance — while keeping the judgement calls firmly human.
2026
Architecture and people

Leading feature delivery and system design, shaping how teams work as much as what they ship, and staying open to AI engineering, full-stack, and architecture roles.
