Coding mentor for students

Most students arrive having never opened a code editor. The first session is deliberately unglamorous: install an editor, save a file, open it in a browser, and see something you wrote appear on screen.

From there we build one small site together over several weeks — layout, styling, a little interactivity — and finish by putting it online with a link they can share with family.

The measure of success is not how much syntax they memorise, but whether they leave believing they can build software.
